About Us
The History of Sealtronix
Sealtronix, Inc. was founded in 1998 to serve the needs of producers and users of electrical and electronic components. Sealtronix is part of the Casting Impregnators Group. The Casting Impregnators Group also includes Casting Impregnators and Casting Impregnators of Wisconsin.
Casting Impregnators, one of the oldest impregnation job shops in the United States, has been sealing porosity for our customers since 1950. We are the oldest member in Loctite’s network of Application Process Centers that was established over 30 years ago. Over the years, our dedication to quality has made Sealtronix and the Casting Impregnators Group leaders in porosity sealing services.
Our customer’s needs have caused us take the path of continual improvement and growth. In 1976, we partnered with Loctite and more than doubled our capacity at our original location in Skokie, Illinois. In 1987, we opened Casting Impregnators of Wisconsin in Waukesha, Wisconsin to provide our quality and expertise to a wider market.
In 2001, Casting Impregnators tripled our capacity as a result of our move into a new, 20,000 sq ft facility in Franklin Park, Illinois. The move allowed us to add a new line of processing equipment that accelerated production and enhanced processing options, while maintaining the same level of quality that our customer have grown to expect. In 2003, we expanded our operations in Waukesha by 50% to 14,000 square feet. This will allow for the continual growth of both Sealtronix and Casting Impregnators of Wisconsin.
